South Leicester Police - Cannabis Grow Located.

Tackling drug use and supply remains a priority for the Freemen police beat team. 

In the early hours of Wednesday morning (06/05/26) a cannabis grow was located at an address on Knighton Fields Road West.

Officers were called to the location after a nearby resident heard a disturbance that was initially reported as a possible burglary. Upon arrival entry was gained and the cannabis grow was discovered, four individuals inside the address were arrested at the scene.

The property contained a large amount of cannabis plants, which have now been cleared, and the address has been made safe after the electrical system inside had been bypassed. 

The four individuals arrested have been charged with various offences relating to the incident, this is a positive result for the local team in our aim of tackling drug cultivation and supply in the community.
